When you send in your track files from the CURRENT SEASON, you receive a credit for an additional 2 years of free map updates. User submitted track files assist in ensuring map accuracy. We highly value your contributions!
How to retrieve track files from your Garmin unit:
Connect your Garmin unit to your computer with the provided USB data transfer cable
Open the Garmin in your file browser
Open the folder titled “GPX”
If you don’t see the “GPX” folder at this level, it may be inside a folder titled “Internal Storage”
On a Montana unit, the "GPX" folder will be inside a folder titled "Garmin"
In the “GPX” folder, there will be a file called “Current.gpx”. This is your most recent track file. The "Archive" folder will have all previous track files sorted by date.
Attach the relevant track file(s) to an email, write any info that will help us make the proper changes to our map, and send it to sales@netrailgps.com
We will reach out with any questions on the data and process your credit for free updates!
